Jelly Recipes!!

I was never a big jelly fan, but after my friend Raji suggested me to post this recipe, I tried making it today using 2 flavors, strawberry & lemon and decorated them with grapes, mint leaves and edible decors. It turned out so gorgeous, the look itself made me famished. Not only I liked it, my husband loved it too. Thanx to my friend for this idea. So here I’m sharing her recipe along with some other easy interesting recipes and images. This is kids favorite and y shouldn’t it be….it is a striking yummy dish! Birthday parties will be fun with this dish.

  • Sprinkle the Gelatine over the surface of the water one sachet at a time and stir in until dissolved.
  • Remove from the heat and add the orange juice.
  • Pour into individual moulds and place in the fridge until set.
  • Decorate with blueberries, raspberries and mint leaves.
For Grape Jelly: You will need:
  • 1 (6 oz.) can Welch's frozen grape juice concentrate
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 fluid oz. pectin
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
Directions:
  • Begin heating water.
  • Add sugar slowly while stirring.
  • When sugar is dissolved, add pectin and bring to a boil.
  • Boil for 1 minute; remove from heat.
  • Add thawed grape juice and lemon juice; heat to 175 degrees. Pour into glass jars. Seal.
Some people prefer jelly in a fluid form, but it tastes better in a semi solid form. So allow it to set and your jelly is ready to eat.
